Family Trip - Penang (14.11.2010)
It is withn 150km from Taiping to Penang. The express way after Taiping towards Penang was a bit fun and looked like the road from Simpang Pulai entrance to Cameron Highland.
It is my second time of accross the Penang bridge. Last time was about 20 years ago, we had softball match held at Penang USM.
Penang gives us different feel. It is much looked like Singapore, our neighbour. An unique island city in West Malaysia. We like her.
We stayed in Cititel Hotel. It was about RM150 for a executive room including 2 breakfast voucher. Extra bed is RM90. But the room is much bigger than KL Cititel. We were satisfied with it for the price.
Family Trip - Taiping Lake (14.11.2010)
We dropped by Taiping Lake on our way to Penang. This is one of the place I desired for a visit to see those very old enchanting trees along the road. (How old of these trees I wonder.)
With the help of GPS borrowed from husband's colleague, we didn't waste much time time to get there.

Family Trip - KL - KL Tower (14.11.2010)
I and my husband had been to KL Tower sky view lobby about 11 years ago. I remembered the ticket price is quite reasonable. But today ticket is considered very expensive. It is RM38 for adult and RM28 for children and citizen. FOC only goes for kids below 4 year-old.
It costed us more than RM200 to reach the sky view lobby. Luckily the view is quite clear that morning.
The ticket was such expensive because it included some other activities in KL Tower, for example the horse riding for kids, F1 simulation, and the mini zoo. So it is your loss if you don't go any of these activities. (Too bad that my kids didn't dare to ride the horse.)

Family Trip - KL - Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve (14.11.2010)
After breakfast we went some walk at the Bukit Nanas. A place for freshing breath.
This reserve forest is nearby KL tower. But we didn't know it linked to KL tower until we reach the top of it.
Before reaching the entrance of the bukit, we would drive through some churchs and high schools. Those are old but beautiful building which may be over 50 years.
