Family Trip - KL - KL Tower (14.11.2010)

I and my husband had been to KL Tower sky view lobby about 11 years ago. I remembered the ticket price is quite reasonable. But today ticket is considered very expensive. It is RM38 for adult and RM28 for children and citizen. FOC only goes for kids below 4 year-old.

It costed us more than RM200 to reach the sky view lobby. Luckily the view is quite clear that morning.

The ticket was such expensive because it included some other activities in KL Tower, for example the horse riding for kids, F1 simulation, and the mini zoo. So it is your loss if you don't go any of these activities. (Too bad that my kids didn't dare to ride the horse.)

Family Trip - KL - Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve (14.11.2010)

After breakfast we went some walk at the Bukit Nanas. A place for freshing breath.
This reserve forest is nearby KL tower. But we didn't know it linked to KL tower until we reach the top of it.

Before reaching the entrance of the bukit, we would drive through some churchs and high schools. Those are old but beautiful building which may be over 50 years.

>> 猫须草 . A herb to clear urine and heaty. Now got selling at some stores at expensive price. In fact, we can plant it at our garden and dry the leaf for tea. That's what my beloved grandmum ever did.

Family Trip - KL - 茨场街 & Night View (13.11.2010)

We had a simple dinner at 茨场街 famous restaurant named 金莲记 for the fried noodles and beehoon. Others also had tasted the famous ikan bakar 烧鱼. I can't take much spicy food due to terrified coughing. But I tasted a bit and found it is not that nice as people said, the sambal was too wet due to not enough cooking time.

Maybe our taste is different with KL people, we all agree that Kulai restaurant make better taste than this famous restaurant. Or maybe we had no luck to get the real master to do the dish for us that night. We were a bit disappointed about the dinner.

After dinner, we drove around Bintang Street and to have a closet view of the KLCC tower.
It is really gorgeous at night. What a brilliant architecture that we have!!

Family Trip - KL - Cube Hotel (13.11.2010)

We started our journey to KL after picked up the youngest sister Lichia at JB custom at 3pm.

We arrived the Cube Hotel 四方美学时尚精品酒店that located near Jalan Bintang and Jalan Pudu at dinner time. This is our first time to stay in a budget hotel. It is in a double storey shop lot. Mr Song chose it because it looked nice and interesting on the website. And it is about 40% cheaper than 4 stars hotel in KL town area.

As it is budget hotel, the room is really small compare to normal hotel. It is about 8'x15', no cabitnet, no sofa, and no much place to put your luagage. And no window as our room is in the middle of the shop. Overall the room is clean.
